Amarillo College invites the community to its second Chautauqua session of the fall, “The Questions Concerning Technology,” on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Oak Room in the College Union Building on Amarillo College's Washington St Campus. This thought-provoking event is part of AC’s ongoing Chautauqua series, Conversations About Be-ing Human, which examines the intersections of culture, technology, and religion in today’s world. The October session will focus on how technology shapes—and challenges—our understanding of what it means to be human.
Amarillo College is set to spark new conversations around questions and concepts of individuals and culture within a community. The presentation, “The Complex(ion) of Culture: It’s NOT What You Think,” is the first part of the fall Chautauqua series. The event will take place Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the Oak Room, College Union Building at the Washington Street Campus, and promises a thought-provoking exploration into the unexpected facets of cultural identity.
